Daniel Lopatin takes on Lindstrøm’s ‘Call Me Anytime’, and the resulting fragile drone opera is a match made in heaven. Spacious chants are layered on top of each other until a subtly cut-up vocal break melts the ice, making room for an intense, chaotically strumming finale. Epic.
